"The Avengers" hits this weekend. And, unsurprisingly, most of you see a big number ahead. But how big? If you're a real movie buff, it's all about the 30-day numbers, where the wheat gets separated from the chaff. Take "Toy Story 3." A huge critical hit, the film kept drawing audiences throughout its first month, racking up $350M in 30 days. Now take "Iron Man 2" -- which to many wasn't as fun and clever as the first "Iron Man." It showed by day 30, and earnings were a good-but-not great $289M. We think "The Avengers" has a chance to hit that magical $300M number, but it's no guarantee -- and let's face it, Marvel would disappointed with anything less. But who cares what Marvel thinks? Have fun and make your own 30-day predictions on the first big movie of the summer. We'll leave this one open a little longer so you can take opening weekend numbers into account.

It HITS!!! that's exactly what it will do this week end and as I have said before in real estate it is location, location, location whereas in movies it is advertising, advertising, advertising and as long as there is money for this then the old saying "it takes money to make money" becomes real I'll bet way more that the 300mil magical number. My 30 day prediction for this film way more than 400 mil I may be wrong but I'm willing to take the chance that a lot of diverse population will be out to see this movie especially anyone that reads comics or collects comic books this will be the icing on their cake.....
