THE CHINESE OLYMPIC TEAM has some pretty impressive numbers when it comes to Olympic medals, culminating in being the #1 team in the world at the Beijing Olympics in 2008, with 100 medals, over half of them gold. Before that, they brought home 63 medals in Athens in 2004, 58 in Sydney in 2000, and 50 in Atlanta in 1996 (see here for a full list).
