This reminds me of Sully Shellenberger the pilot that landed his plane in the Hudson and saved lives. Makes me wonder was this plot for this movie rewritten from the "Hudson" film hmmmmm......Anyway I'll watch anything with Denzel in it-- I have a friend that was an insurance investigator for the airline industry for years and I'm gonna ask him about this movie, of course I don't care about the technical stuff but I'm curios can one "roll" a plane maybe one can Denzel did...would love to see him nominated but that will just have to be seen close to that time let's hope that this makes more than 20mil I'm gonna bet that it does-- again depends on the advertising.

With half the usual theaters, this did well. My guess would have been closer to $19.5M. Proves Denzel has more muscle and trailers did their job. From comments from friends, I don't think word of mouth will carry very far. His performance was great, but not what was sold to the audience from trailer.
