How Much Will "That's My Boy" Gross in Its Opening Weekend?

FITTINGLY to be released on Father's Day weekend, That's My Boy is yet another 'classic' Adam Sandler flick, with Sandler once again reprising one of his favorite stock roles of the irresponsible adult who refuses to grow up. Andy Samberg of Saturday Night Live plays Sandler's son, who is forced into a reunion with his long-lost dad, and predictable shenanigans ensue. This is obviously pandering to the teenaged-male crowd, although the R rating may constrict views. But we think that Adam Sandler's hardcore fanbase will come out as well, especially considering the superficial similarities to older Sandler movies like Happy Gilmore, Big Daddy, Billy Madison, and the Waterboy. Like it or not, Sandler knows his audience base, and he knows how to make them laugh. In fact, last year's Jack and Jill opened at $25M, a respectable figure for a November screwball comedy, although not as high as February's Just Go With It ($30M), which had Sandler in an arguably more palatable romantic-comedy scenario.

This movie needs to be thrown back in the can--- trash that is. After watching this trailer of bodily fluids on a wedding dress especially one mentioned in this trailer "reeks" of a sick mind. The script is awful. Pandering to teen age boys--- I don't think so I think even teen age boys will not laugh well maybe they would at some of the "bathroom humor" And to release this on Fathers Day is a slap in the face to all the Dads out there. Like it or not I think someone was on something when they wrote this crap and I'm sure there is a mention of that "bodily fluid" somewhere in this movie. And more than 32mil let's hope not however with society the way it is today it just might.

Jack and Jill pulled in $25M opening weekend? Seriously? That's the most surprising fact I've read all week. Anyways, I expect That's My Boy to tank at the box office.
